How I got here
Timeline
Every line on my CV has a year next to it. This is what actually happened between them, and before them: the bets, the rejections that turned out to be useful, and the projects that taught me more than the courses did.

2016 — 2017Treasurer at fifteen, Club Maarifa
My first budget: what to buy, what to skip, and which good deal was not the right decision. Then the club took the money to Aswak Assalam and bought food and winter clothing for several families living in the Atlas Mountains. That trip is where I learned the distance between wanting to help and the logistics that make help actually arrive.

2017 — 2020Philosophy club, acting club
Every Wednesday afternoon we debated in the school conference room with no preparation: you were handed a position and built the case for it on the spot. I was in the acting club at the same time, performing in plays, and I ended up presenting at school conferences. None of it came naturally. It was built one debate and one line of dialogue at a time, and arguing a position I had been handed rather than chosen is exactly what it takes to weigh the trade-offs of a feature with a team: judge the option on its merits, and let it go when the better case is on the other side.

2019 — 2020The school renovation
Final year of high school, a French class assignment: do something good. My group went looking for sponsorship and I wrote the proposal. Every bank and agency turned us away as just kids. The real problem was not our age, it was that we had asked for a number with nothing behind it. So we found a village school in the mountains near Agadir and went to see what it actually lacked: no computers, no sports equipment, tables falling apart. I priced the whole list at the souk, and we pitched again. Casino Atlantic gave more than we asked for. Five weekends of work later the school had a computer room, and the project took first place in the class.

2020ENSA Agadir, first choice
I got into ENSA Agadir through direct entry, on a cousin's recommendation. A first-year course on algorithms and C answered the specialty question before I was allowed to choose one: software, and nothing else.

2021 — 2022The prépa gamble
I got seriously ill during second-year exams and lost the semester to the retake system, which caps every mark at 10 out of 20 no matter how right the answers are. That ceiling put me on track for Industrial Engineering, so I let the retake fail on purpose, to be made to repeat the year and get a real shot at Computer Science. My professor warned me I could be expelled instead. I would rather they let me go than not try everything in my power to get what I wanted.

2022 — 2023ElevatePill
Repeating the year left my second semester almost empty, so I read the self-help classics and built a business out of them: one-dollar book summaries, on a storefront I built myself after learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript specifically to build it. The ads worked, and people bought six or seven at a time. Then I removed the price, because I had only read those books thanks to knowledge someone else had decided to give away.

2023Into Computer Science
The gamble paid. I entered the Computer Science engineering cycle, the specialty I had spent a year of my life buying a chance at.
2023 — 2024Treasurer, APPS Club
I did not run for treasurer, I was asked. The club needed someone it could be certain about with its money, and my name was the one that came up: I had a reputation for being amiin, trustworthy. I was not managing the budget from the sidelines either, I ran the events I funded, down to the logistics on the day.

2024 — 2025Responsable de Communication, JEEA
JEEA is ENSA Agadir's Junior Entreprise: a company that needs a website gets it built by students instead of paying freelance rates. I came in on a recommendation, then had to interview for the seat. I reworked how we spoke in public, rewriting the captions on every social post, and I was the association's official spokesman for the year.
November 2024The Git and GitHub series
Four sessions of two hours, designed and taught by me: init, clone, commit, then pull requests and issues, then SSH keys and branch protection, then CI/CD with GitHub Actions. It was built for junior students heading into their first internships. Teaching it rather than sitting in it was the change worth noting.

Feb — May 2025Amanti, at OpenTecc
My first end-to-end ownership of a production system: a Spring Boot backend with role-based access and audit logging, QR-code parcel check-in and check-out, Stripe payments, and a native Shopify plugin inside the checkout. Two earlier designs were built and dropped first. Knowing when to walk away from something that mostly works was worth more than the code. It was also the hardest semester of my degree, run alongside a full course load.

Feb — Jul 2026The Atos portal, at VOID Agency
My graduation project, and the biggest jump in scale I have made: rebuilding the international site of a technology group of roughly 100,000 people across more than 70 countries, on a decoupled Drupal 10 and Next.js architecture. I delivered 3 of its 7 content modules, shipped 3 fixes into the agency's own framework, and presented my work directly to the client's Product Owner with no senior engineer in the room.
